Service, responsibility, and learning by doing
U.S. Army watercraft service and early operational experience laid the groundwork for a practical, hands-on approach to leadership.
A personal journey, still in progress
Technology entrepreneur. Pilot. Veteran. Nonprofit leader. A Texan building a new chapter in Guatemala. I've spent my life figuring things out, bringing people together, and seeing what's beyond the next horizon.

01 / THE PERSON
My path has never been a straight line. From Army watercraft to running a technology company, from commercial job sites to the left seat of a Piper Cherokee, I've always been drawn to work that requires resourcefulness, responsibility, and a little nerve.
I value practical people, honest answers, and getting the right experts in the room. The experiences here aren't separate identities. They're different chapters of the same life.
Follow the timeline ↘02 / THE ROAD SO FAR
U.S. Army watercraft service and early operational experience laid the groundwork for a practical, hands-on approach to leadership.
Founded a technology services business in Texas, building long-term relationships around communications, networking, and infrastructure.
Expanded recurring business communications services, with the ClearTrunk brand later becoming MyFonCompany.
Flying, Airplanes & Coffee, Hangar C1, LatGringo, and a growing connection to Lake Atitlán bring together the things that matter beyond business.

03 / BUSINESS & TECHNOLOGY
From hands-on installations to corporate-level technology oversight, I've learned that good infrastructure matters only when it helps the business work better.
I've supported growing national retailers with networking, telecommunications, CCTV, structured cabling, and site-level deployments. That work also meant thinking ahead about how stores connect with corporate systems, and how reporting and visibility support accountability across locations.
AVAILABLE FOR SELECT ENGAGEMENTS
I advise growing businesses on telecom and technology decisions, vendor oversight, project execution, and infrastructure planning. Remote by default, with U.S. on-site availability for special engagements when needed. WAN connectivity is part of my experience, not my entire focus.
04 / AVIATION

I'm a private pilot and owner of a Piper Cherokee PA-28-235. Flying has changed how I see distance, community, and possibility. It's also introduced me to people and causes I might never have discovered on the ground.
I serve as Director at Large of Airplanes & Coffee, a nonprofit bringing people together through aviation events, education, and scholarship opportunities for future pilots and aviation maintenance professionals. The organization also has a growing media and television story worth sharing.

05 / GUATEMALA
What began as a visit to Lake Atitlán became an ambitious idea: build a hangar, connect with a new community, and explore what life between Texas and Guatemala could look like.
Building a hangar near Santiago Atitlán has been a project in engineering, patience, local relationships, and learning. Hangar C1 is where aviation and life in Guatemala meet.
Hangar C1 ↗I'm developing plans to bring practical networking, surveillance, connectivity, and low-voltage technology services to businesses and property owners in the Lake Atitlán region.

Bahía Santiago has its own rhythm and procedure. This reference image captures the arrival and departure flow used around Santiago Atitlán and the lake environment that makes flying here so memorable.

06 / GIVING BACK
Aviation and technology are useful skills, but they mean more when they can help other people. I'm involved in aviation education and support humanitarian efforts and community initiatives when I can.
I plan to share documented stories of the organizations, missions, and people I've supported here. Those stories deserve more than a generic claim or a stock photograph.
Mission photos and firsthand stories coming in a future update.
07 / STORIES & MEDIA
Travel, culture, funny moments, and the evolving adventure of making a life in Guatemala.
Events, nonprofit work, and aviation media that help more people discover what's possible.
